Pizza Margherita

Ingredients

  • Pizza crust (I used a vegan/gf cauliflower one from erewhon market, I also like simple mills or you can make your own)
  • Marinara sauce (I used organico bello pizza sauce)
  • Garlic spread (you can omit or sub depending on preference/availability)
  • Heirloom tomato – thinly sliced
  • Wild arugula
  • Salt & pepper to taste ⁣⁣⁣
  • Optional toppings- fresh basil, olive oil drizzle

Instructions

  1. Bake crust at 350/375°F for 5 minutes (or follow instructions for the crust you are using).
  2. Remove crust from the oven and add garlic spread, marinara sauce, and sliced tomatoes.
  3. Add additional garlic spread and salt & pepper.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes (or follow instructions for the crust you are using).
  5. Top with arugula, olive oil drizzle, and fresh basil.
