Turkey Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. organic ground turkey – white meat⁣
  • 1 organic pasture-raised egg ⁣⁣⁣
  • 2 tbsp. fresh parsley – chopped ⁣
  • 1 tbsp. stone-ground mustard⁣
  • 1 tbsp. red onion – minced ⁣
  • 3 tbsp. green onion – chopped ⁣
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder⁣
  • 2-4 tbsp. almond flour ⁣
  • Salt & pepper to taste ⁣⁣⁣
  • Avocado oil for cooking ⁣
  • Butter lettuce for serving ⁣
  • Optional toppings- avocado, red onion & sauce of your choice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.⁣
  2. Add almond flour as needed to bind the mixture.
  3. Form mixture into patties and set aside. ⁣
  4. Heat a skillet over medium and add avocado oil.⁣
  5. Add patties to heated skillet and cook through (approx. 6 minutes on each side).⁣
  6.  Place on butter lettuce, add preferred toppings, and serve with a side of baked sweet potato fries if desired.
